Wellfest is an accessible and approachable wellness festival brought to mixed-use developments that provide a platform to promote healthy living and eating for all levels of fitness.
Amidst the transition and integration of team members from Midway to Parkway, there was a need to ensure a smooth onboarding process and cultivate a positive work environment. Recognizing the significance of team morale in driving success, the challenge was to create a welcoming atmosphere and instill a sense of camaraderie among all employees.
The Welcome to Parkway initiative was designed to go beyond a mere gesture, aiming to make team members feel valued, appreciated, and excited about the new chapter ahead. Each welcome box was meticulously crafted to include items that would uplift spirits and convey a genuine sense of care and consideration.
Additionally, Parkway launched an initiative to repurpose these boxes by filling them with school supplies provided by Parkway and delivering them to local schools in Texas and Florida. This initiative, spanning across all districts and departments, not only helped reduce waste but also fostered a sense of community and bonding among team members as they came together for a meaningful cause. Through this collaborative effort, Parkway demonstrated its commitment to making a positive impact both within the organization and in the communities it serves.
